Cheap Flicks

If you're an independent film buff... or just like to try new things... "Movies on a Big Screen" is the group for you.

Each week anyone can pay $5 to see movies like "Stingray Sam", a space-western-musical. Sounds interesting, right?

The group screens films, documentaries and shorts at the Guild Theater in Sacramento.
Many times the filmmaker and guest speakers are present for a Q and A after the main event. Everyone's welcome.

You can catch the group this Sunday... "Stingray Sam" starts at 7:30 pm... again, at the Guild Theater on 2828 35th Street.

CLICK HERE for a link to the group's website.

"Movies on a Big Screen" is searching for a Friday night screening location. If you can help, check their website for contact information.
