I'll be emceeing the event from 10-Noon at Sunrise Market Place in Citrus Heights. It's only $5 to register your pooch and that benefits VARK (the Veterinary After Rescue Kare). You could win $200 for Best of Show based in small, medium and large dog categories. PetSmart gift cards and door prizes will also be up for grabs. All contestants get a doggy bag and treats! Only the first 100 applicants will be accepted... but we love bystanders as well. Put that dog on a leash and make sure you and your pet have current vaccinations (just joking, but Fido won't get a pass).
