St. Patty's Street Party

Aye Matey!   Um, I mean Erin Go Bragh!

de Vere's Irish Pub and Mix Dowtown are teaming up to put the shake in your shamrock.  They are closing off one city block, L St. 15th-16th, in downtown Sacramento for the 1st Annual "Get Your Irish Up" block party. On St. Patrick's Day, March 17th from 10am-10pm, you can grab yourself some Irish food, whiskey, beer and maybe a Gaelic dancer or two.  There will be bagpipes and other live music like "Tainted Love" to get your Irish eyes smiling.  Tickets are $15 a person in advance and $20 the day of the event.  Purchase those tics at either location or by calling 916.442.8899.  Catch the after party at Mix and de Vere's from 10pm-2am.

In other Irish news... how about taking a Highland dance class?  Click here

For those early risers "The Boxing Donkey" in Roseville is pouring the Irish Carbombs starting at 6am on St. Patty's Day.  Click here
