***Stop*** and Smell the Roses...

If you're stressing about that upcoming project (trust me, I feel your pain) you HAVE to take some time out to admire the bright, beautiful and blossoming roses outside our great State Capitol Building.

I took some time out on Sunday to swing by on my way to lunch and started the week a much better (and less crabby) person for it. There are benches dotted throughout the garden, so bring a book if you have the time. Photo0056.jpg

Jon Wilson:

Hey Natalie,

You are speaking true wisdom with the comments about taking time out to appreciate finer things in life. However I missed an excellent opportunity for doing so in a slightly different way. I am kicking myself silly for being so absent minded. I had brought a beautiful rose from my Mom's garden to give you at the 20/30's spring party. But because I am a scatter-brain I forgot it. I felt it was only fair to bring a gift since I had intended to ask for something from you. Namely an autograph. Also I do really enjoy starting my morning with you, Rosemary and Evan. You all do great work. So instead of the now dried rose that I left at my friends home in Davis I wish to simply offer my sincerest gratitude for making each morning a little bit more rosy.-thanx Jon Wilson
