CHRONICLES OF NARIA: VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER

Very mediocre. It's kinda exciting. Kinda engaging. The 3-D is kinda cool. The story is kinda fun. It just isn't worth 12 and a half dollars a person.

Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.

I guess, you can forgive the blatant allegories for religion and Christianity here. You try to get involved in the journey these characters are taking. It tries to be an adventure in it's purest form. The problem is... you don't really like any of these characters! Maybe Lucy... but um... that's about it. And when you don't really like characters, you end up not really caring about them. Ho-hum. It was ALMOST a good movie.
