LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

Almost a joke. With the exception of a few heart warming scenes, this almost romantic comedy-almost coming of age-almost fish out of water movie is as silly and as predictable as it gets!

Holly Berenson (Heigl) is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer (Duhamel) is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. However, when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world after she loses her parents, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they'll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.

Maybe it's the silly premise? What idot would leave their children in the hands of such an irresonsible idiot? And like many would-be rom coms these days, the film is PG-13, which of course handcuffs plenty of attempted jokes and gags... but not long after the movie starts.. you simply just don't care.

The bottom line: All you have to do is watch the trailer, and you've seen the entire movie.

Is it worth your money? NO
